MCAA Hampton Dam Challenge.
When:
Saturday, July 19, 2008 - 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The sign
in starts at 7:00 AM.
Where:
Hampton Dam and Lock #14 on the Mississippi River near the Quad

Who: Any MCAA member who pays
the $5.00 entry fee or non-member who pays the $7.00 entry fee. Contact mcaa@comcast.net to
join MCAA.
Why: Fame, fortune and fun.
How: Tournament winners will be
determined by total weight caught--common
and mirror carp only.
All carp 6 pounds and over must be released alive to count. There
will probably be a big fish pot on the side.
Prizes: Olympic style medals, VISA
gift cards, and cash to top three finishers.
Bonus
Prize for winner of The MCAA 200:
No, this isn't a race to see who gets from northeast Illinois
to Hampton Dam the fastest! There will be an additional prize
for
the tournament participant who is first to weigh a tenth of a
ton of carp (200 pounds) during the event. We look forward to
seeing you there!
