Nineteen anglers caught only 7 fish equating to 35 pounds of carp at the 2nd Annual Lily Cache Shootout held November 1 at Bolingbrook, IL. A 2" deluge just two days prior to the event and a morning cold front dipping to 32° kept the bite to a minimum, although the day ended at a pleasant 55°.

Match angler Trevor Burgess caught well over half the total weight and won the event with three fish totaling 19 pounds. Trevor also took big fish of the day honors with a nice 10-14.

Cory Bohmann returned to tournament action after some time off, and he did well pulling in second place money with a 7 lb., 6 oz. carp.

Dan Ramir continued to be in the money as has been the case for several recent tournaments and took home the third place medal with a 3 lb., 4 oz. carp.

$50 Gift Certificates donated by Wacker Bait and Tackle were won by Andy Burnagiel and Ioan Ioacob in a post-tournament, free-to-participants raffle.

Thanks to our co-sponsor, the Joliet Jr. College Angling Club (Dr. Patrick Mills), for helping MCAA host the event.

Thanks, also, to the 19 participants for their efforts on a day when the bite was tough (14 of us blanked).
