Results MCAA Steel City Challenge Saturday, March 15, 2008 - 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. An eight pound, fifteen ounce catch with ten minutes to go in the Tournament secured first place medals and prize money for Dave Moran and Jim Sugihara in the March 15, 2008 MCAA Steel City Challenge sponsored by the Midwest Carp Anglers Association and held at Bicentennial Park South in Joliet, Illinois. The winning anglers netted, weighed, and released over 64 pounds of fish during the eight hour event. Second place went to Mike Olinger and Frank Rink with 57+ pounds, and third place honors were garnered by Paul Wells and Rodolfo Garcia with 47+ pounds. Mike Olinger netted the big fish of the day at 13 pounds, 8 ounces. Eleven two-person teams braved the chilly conditions and caught 56 carp weighing 287 pounds.
