dues year runs from March 1st, 2009 through February 28th, 2010.
New members can sign up and pay the day of the event.

Why: Fame, fortune and fun.

Fish Care: This is a total weight,
catch and release tournament. Common and mirror carp only. The
fish must be released alive to count. Please take as much care
as possible to minimize the damage to the fish. Fish safe nets
and unhooking mats are recommended, but not mandatory. There are
grassy areas by all the pegs where the carp can be safely set down
to be unhooked.

Scale: There
will be a centrally located scale where all the entries must
be weighed and logged in by the organizer. There will be a
leader board that will be updated in a timely fashion.

Pegs: There
will be a total of twenty pegs. There will be a limit of four
rods per peg, one hook per line, no treble hooks. After the
peg draw, participants can chum, spod, plumb, Smartcast and
test equipment or rigs at their own peg. All rods must be out
of the water five minutes before the start signal. At 9:00
AM, if there are any open pegs and some teams would like to
move, they can move to another peg. If more than one team wants
to move to the same open peg, there will be an auction, starting
at $1.00, with bidding increments of $1.00, with the winner
getting the peg and the proceeds of said auction will be rolled
into the prize pot.

Prizes: The
teams with the top three total weights will win Olympic style medals
and cash. 90% of the paid entry fees will be split with 60% for
first, 30% for second and 10% for third. There will be a big fish
pot. The first team that weighs in 50 pounds of fish will win two
$25.00 Bass Pro Shops gift cards.

General: There
will be donuts, Slim Jims, hard boiled eggs and bottled water
for participants at the sign in. There will be a flea market
style sales table for any participant who has any fishing or
outdoors equipment they would like to sell. There is no charge
for this. The ‘Robert Kraft Memorial
Life Preserver’ will
be by the scale, in case someone falls in the river. This event
will be held regardless of weather or river conditions. There
are parking spots near almost all of the pegs where you can
sit in your vehicle and keep an eye on your rods. The venue
will be chummed for several days prior to the event. Any updates
or changes to the rules will be announced prior to the peg
draw. GOOD LUCK !
