| MCAA has been "snakebitten" as far as weather is concerned at recent tournaments. The 3rd Annual MCAA Steel City Challenge™ on March 20, 2010 saw a 30° drop in temperatures from the previous day (65 to 35), a northeasterly wind at 20 mph, and horizontal sleet, snow, and freezing rain in our faces most of the day. In fact, there were times when we were in nearly white-out conditions as evidenced by the barely discernible rod and reel at right. Despite those terrible conditions, some hearty anglers from 14 teams stuck with it, and fish were caught! Dennis Davis and Larry Seeman led the way! | ![]() |

Congratulations to the team of Larry Seeman (right in photo) and Dennis Davis (seated in photo) who took home the first place winnings with a total weight of 44 pounds, 4 ounces! Dennis and Larry pulled in a 16-8 with less than a half hour to go to easily out-distance the rest of us in the field. |
| Cory Bohman and Mike Deets won second place money with 30 lbs., 2 oz. Pictured is MCAA Founder and tournament host Sam Snow (left) with 2nd place victors Mike Deets (center) and Cory Bohmann (right). | ![]() |

First day of spring? Well, it said so on the calendar, but conditions were brutal. Winter coats and rain gear were the order of the day for these carpers. Thanks to all who participated! |
