Unfortunately, the carps' pre-spawn/spawn lack of interest in eating, a somewhat weedy venue, and a recent cold front made carp fishing virtually impossible for the May 15, 2010 MCAA Lake Storey Spring Challenge.

Sam Snow caught the only fish of the day - a 12 oz. channel catfish that won him the $20 "nuisance fish" prize.

Howard Armstrong won the $50 Wacket Bait and Tackle gift certificate raffle. The gift card was donated by S.R. Snow & Company.

Special thanks to the 14 participants who committed themselves to fishing the tournament despite the conditions.
