Rules and Regulations

What: 3rd annual series of catch and release big carp contests.



Who: Participants must be current MCAA members. Current membership is from March 1, 2010 through February 28, 2011. If you have not paid your dues for that time frame, you are NOT a current member.



When: All divisions begin on April 1st, 2010 and end on September 6th, 2010.



Why: Fame, fortune and fun.
1st 40 pound common carp caught wins a $100.00 Gift Card
1st 30 pound common carp caught wins a $50.00 Gift Card
Largest common carp caught by 9-6-2010 wins $100.00
Largest mirror carp caught by 9-6-2010 wins $100.00
Largest grass carp caught by 9-6-2010 wins $100.00



How: See fine print



FINE PRINT: The carp must be caught from any lake or river that has public access. The carp must be released alive, no ‘driveway or backyard’ pictures will be accepted. The participant must be a current MCAA member. The catch must be witnessed by a current MCAA member. A picture of the successful angler with the fish, a picture of the witness taken the same day, the location of the venue and the time of day must be submitted to the organizer within 7 days after the particular event ends.
