Annual MCAA Winter Tournament A carp weighing 23 lbs., 1 oz. and a top four total weight of 76 lbs., 13 oz. took first place honors and two $100 Visa Gift Cards plus a cut of the entry fees for Frank Rink in MCAA's 2009 Winter Tournament. Two of Frank's top four fish came out of the Chicago River and two came from the DesPlaines. The 23-1 was marked with a Chicago Water Reclamation District tag!Mike Olinger won 2nd place total weight money ($50 for 72-1 lbs.) and Dan Ramir took 3rd ($25 for 70-3lbs) in the total weight category. In the big fish contest, Dan Ramir was 2nd ($50 for a 20-12) and Mike Olinger was 3rd ($25 for a 20-4). Sam Snow's 17 lb. 15 oz. fish, caught on the last day of the tournament from the DesPlaines River, won him a $100 Visa gift card for the biggest fish caught by an angler using RIVERMAN SINKER SYSTEMS, LTD. PRODUCTS OR CARPMASTER BAIT & ATTRACTANTS, LTD. PRODUCTS MCAA Founder Sam Snow reported that 16 anglers participated in the tournament. Winning anglers also won distribution of half the entry fees.
